1. Who this policy covers
This Shipping & Delivery policy explains how orders placed on shiftpride.com travel from our print partners to your door. It applies to every product in the store: profession t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, mugs and any other item we list. Shift Pride is operated under the trade name Shiftpride, 311 Florida Street, Knoxville, TN 37915, United States.
We wrote this page in plain language because most of our customers are reading it on a phone during a break, between patients, between classes or at a truck stop. If anything here is unclear, write to us and a real person will explain it. The numbers on this page are the same numbers used in our Refund Policy, our Returns & Exchanges Policy and our FAQs.
2. How a made-to-order shipment works
Shift Pride does not keep shelves of finished shirts. When you place an order, your design is sent to production, printed on a fresh blank in the size, colour and style you picked, checked, packed and handed to a carrier. That approach means less waste and a much larger range of trades, sizes and colours than a warehouse could hold, but it also means every order has two separate clocks:
- Production time, the time it takes to print, cure, inspect and pack your items. This is usually 2–5 business days.
- Transit time, the time the carrier needs to move the parcel from the United States to your address. This depends on the destination.
Your total delivery time is the two added together. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday enter production on the next business day.
3. Destinations, costs and delivery estimates
| Destination | Shipping cost | Production | Transit estimate | Typical total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States (incl. APO/FPO where the carrier accepts it) | Free | 2–5 business days | 3–7 business days | 5–12 business days |
| Canada | Free | 2–5 business days | 6–12 business days | 8–17 business days |
| Australia | Free | 2–5 business days | 6–12 business days | 8–17 business days |
| New Zealand | Free | 2–5 business days | 6–12 business days | 8–17 business days |
These are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Carriers can slow down during peak season (roughly mid-November to the end of December), during severe weather and around public holidays in the destination country. If your order is tied to a fixed date such as Nurses Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, a retirement party or a station fundraiser, please read section 6 before you order.
We do not currently offer paid express shipping. If that changes, the option and its price will appear at checkout before you pay, and this page will be updated.
4. Countries we do not ship to
Checkout only accepts shipping addresses in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If you live elsewhere, the checkout will not let you complete an order, and you will not be charged. We would rather be honest about this than accept an order we cannot deliver reliably. If you would like us to consider your country in the future, tell us at [email protected]; we read every request even though we cannot promise a date.
5. Multiple items and split shipments
Different products are sometimes printed at different production sites. A tee and a mug in the same order may therefore arrive in separate parcels on different days, each with its own tracking number. You are never charged extra for a split shipment. If one tracking email arrives and the other item has not, check your inbox for a second email before contacting us; it usually follows within a few days.
Crew orders, for example twelve shirts for a hospital unit or a set for a construction crew, may also ship in more than one box. Count the items against your order confirmation when everything has arrived, and tell us within the claim window in section 9 if anything is missing.
6. Ordering for a specific date
Because every item is made to order, we cannot rush a single item ahead of the queue on request. What we can do is tell you honestly whether a date looks realistic. Before placing an order for an event, email us with:
- the date the shirts need to be in hand;
- the delivery country and postcode or ZIP code;
- roughly how many items and which styles.
We will reply within 1 business day with our best estimate. If we think the timing is tight, we will say so plainly. Please plan for the upper end of the ranges in section 3, and for international destinations add a few extra days around holidays.
7. Tracking your parcel
When a parcel leaves production, we email a shipping confirmation with the carrier name and a tracking link to the address you used at checkout. Tracking can take 24–48 hours to show the first scan, so a link that says “label created” for a day is normal. You can also follow your order status on our Order Tracking page with your order number and email address.
International parcels are often handed from a US carrier to the national post of the destination country. When that happens, the tracking number may change or stop updating on the first carrier’s site; the destination post office’s website usually shows the later scans. If you are unsure where to look, write to us with your order number.
8. Addresses, missed deliveries and returns to sender
Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout, including apartment, unit, suite or rural route numbers. You can correct an address within the change window described in our Cancel or Change an Order policy, as long as the order has not entered production.
- Incomplete or wrong address entered by the customer: if a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or incorrect, we will contact you. We can reship it once at no charge to a corrected address in the four countries we serve; if you prefer, we refund the product price instead.
- Missed delivery: follow the carrier’s notice to rebook delivery or collect the parcel. Parcels not collected within the carrier’s holding period are usually returned to sender; the same reship-or-refund choice applies.
- Delivered to a safe place: if tracking says delivered but you cannot find the parcel, check with neighbours, building reception, a mailroom or the place where your carrier usually leaves parcels, then contact us. See section 9.
9. Late, lost, damaged or wrong deliveries
We take responsibility for getting your order to you. You can report any of the problems below within 60 days of the delivery date (or of the last estimated delivery date for a parcel that never arrived).
9.1 Late or lost parcels
If tracking has not moved for 7 business days, or the parcel is past the top of the estimated range in section 3, email us with your order number. We will open an investigation with the carrier. If the carrier cannot locate the parcel within 5 business days, we will reprint and reship your items at no cost, or refund you in full if you prefer. A refund is issued within 7 calendar days of that decision.
9.2 Tracking says delivered, but nothing arrived
Please wait one more business day, because carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered shortly before it actually arrives. Then check the usual places mentioned above and email us. We will file a claim with the carrier and, when the claim confirms the problem or the evidence points that way, replace or refund the order.
9.3 Damaged, misprinted or wrong items
Send us your order number and a clear photo of the problem: a cracked mug, a print defect, the wrong size or colour, the wrong design. You do not need to send the item back first unless we ask. We will reprint the correct item and ship it free, or refund it, as you choose. Return shipping is always free when the mistake is ours. The full process is in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
10. Customs, duties and taxes
Orders to the United States are domestic shipments. Orders to Canada, Australia and New Zealand are international shipments and may be subject to import duties, sales taxes such as GST or HST, or handling fees charged by the destination country. Whether any charge applies depends on the order value and the rules of your country at the time of import. Unless checkout clearly says that duties and taxes are included, these charges are not part of our price and are payable by the recipient. If you refuse a parcel because of import charges, the carrier may return it; we will refund the product price once it comes back, but we cannot refund charges collected by a government or a carrier.
We declare the true value and content of every parcel. We cannot mark orders as gifts or under-declare them to avoid charges.
11. Packaging
Apparel ships in a sealed poly mailer. Mugs ship in a fitted box with protective inserts because ceramic does not forgive a rough sorting belt. If packaging is crushed or torn on arrival, take a photo before opening if you can; it helps the carrier claim.
12. Shipping for exchanges and replacements
When we reprint an item because of our error, the replacement ships free with tracking, using the same production and transit times listed above. When you exchange an item for a different size or colour because you changed your mind, you cover the cost of sending the original back to us and we pay to ship the new item to you. The details, including the 14-day window for sending a return after it is approved, are in the Returns & Exchanges Policy.
13. Holidays and peak season
During the busiest weeks of the year, especially late November and December, production queues get longer and carriers handle record volumes. Order early for holiday gifts and end-of-year staff gifts. If we know of a production closure or a carrier cutoff, we will post it in the announcement bar at the top of the site.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update delivery estimates when our production partners or carriers change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update. Orders are covered by the policy that was published on the day the order was placed.
15. Contact us about shipping
Email [email protected] with your order number in the subject line, or open a request on our Submit a Ticket page. We answer within 1 business day. For other questions, the Help Center and the Contact Us page list every topic in one place.
