Wear the work you’re proud of
Some people leave their job at the door when the shift ends. Plenty of others do not, and would not want to. The nurse who still checks on the neighbour’s cough after a twelve-hour night. The teacher who corrects grammar on restaurant menus without meaning to. The electrician who cannot walk past a loose outlet cover. The trucker who knows every decent diner between two states. The line cook who judges every fry they eat. Work leaves a mark on people, and for a lot of us, that mark is something to be proud of.
Shift Pride is a store built around that feeling. We make casual clothing and drinkware with designs about specific trades and professions, so you can wear what you do on your day off, at the unit party, at the station barbecue, at a retirement send-off or on the long drive home. Our name says it plainly: the shift you work, and the pride you take in it.
What we sell
Our range is organised by trade first, because that is how our customers think. Start with your work and you will find designs written in your job’s language:
- Nurses & Healthcare: for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, techs, medics, pharmacy and everyone who keeps a unit running.
- Teachers & Education: for classroom teachers, aides, librarians, counsellors, coaches and school staff.
- Firefighters & First Responders: for firefighters, EMTs, paramedics and dispatchers, off duty.
- Trades & Construction: for electricians, welders, plumbers, carpenters, linemen, HVAC techs and operators.
- Truckers & Drivers: for long-haul and regional drivers, delivery and route drivers, bus drivers.
- Chefs & Hospitality: for chefs, cooks, bakers, servers, bartenders and hotel crews.
- Office & Tech: for IT, developers, accountants, admins and support teams.
- Retirement & Career Gifts: for the last shift, the first licence, the graduation and the promotion.
You can also browse by product: T-Shirts, Hoodies & Sweatshirts and Mugs & Drinkware, or see everything in the Shop. Apparel is offered in styles such as unisex tees, women’s V-neck tees, long sleeves, crewneck sweatshirts and pullover hoodies, in sizes from S up to 5XL on many styles, and in colours from black and navy to sport grey and light pink. Each product page lists exactly what is available for that design.
How your order is made
We do not run a warehouse full of guesses. When you place an order, your chosen design is printed on a new blank in the style, colour and size you picked. The printed item is checked, packed and shipped from the United States. Production usually takes 2–5 business days, and then the carrier takes over.
Printing on demand has real advantages for our customers. It lets us offer far more trades, sizes and colours than a shop that has to pre-print stock. It means there are no piles of unsold shirts heading to landfill. And it means a 5XL is just as easy for us to make as a Medium, which matters to a lot of working people who have been told “we don’t carry that size” too many times.
It also comes with honest limits that we would rather tell you up front: your order takes a few days to make before it ships, and colours can look slightly different on a screen than in printed ink. Our Shipping & Delivery page gives the full timing.
What we will never do
Working people have a good nose for nonsense, so we keep a short list of things we refuse to do:
- No real logos or insignia. We never print hospital, school district, fire department, police agency, union, company or brand logos, patches or seals. Our designs celebrate the work, not any employer. See our Intellectual Property Policy.
- No fake credentials. Nothing we sell pretends to be a uniform, a badge, an official ID or protective gear.
- No invented hype. No made-up reviews, fake countdown timers, invented “only 2 left” warnings or claims we cannot back up.
- No safety claims. Our shirts are not flame-resistant or high-visibility rated. Wear your required gear on the job.

How we check quality
Before a design goes live, we review it for clean edges at print size, readable text, and a layout that sits well on both small and large garments, because a design that looks right on a Medium can look wrong on a 4XL. We also check every design against our rules on logos, insignia and claims. After printing, items are checked for placement, colour and obvious defects before packing.
No process is perfect. If something gets through that should not have, a photo is all we need to put it right: a free reprint or a refund, your choice, within 60 days of delivery.
How we design for each trade
A design about nursing written by someone who has never worked a night shift usually shows. Generic jokes, wrong equipment, the wrong vocabulary. So every collection starts with the words people in that job actually use: the break-room phrases, the tools of the trade, the small daily absurdities that everyone in the field recognises and nobody outside it quite understands. We listen to customers who write to us about their work, and we keep notes on what makes a design feel true rather than borrowed.
We also think about where a design will be worn. A tee for a teacher might be worn on a field trip in front of thirty eight-year-olds, so the humour stays classroom-safe. A design for a trucker needs to read from across a parking lot. A design for a nurse might be worn in a hospital cafeteria, so it avoids anything that could worry a patient’s family. Pride in the work is the common thread; the tone changes with the job.
A day in the life of an order
- You check out. Your confirmation email arrives within minutes with your order number.
- The change window. For about 24 hours we hold the order so you can fix a size, colour or address at no cost.
- Printing. The design is printed on a new blank in your size and colour, then cured so the ink bonds with the fabric or the mug coating.
- Checking and packing. The item is checked for placement and obvious flaws, folded into a mailer or boxed with protective inserts for mugs.
- Shipping. The parcel goes to the carrier and you receive a tracking email.
- Delivery and after. Your 60-day return window starts on the delivery date. If anything is wrong, a photo is all we need.
Crew orders and milestones
A lot of our orders are placed by one person for many: a charge nurse buying shirts for Nurses Week, a principal ordering for staff appreciation, a station captain organising a fundraiser, a foreman celebrating a finished job, a manager planning a retirement party. We built our store to make that easy. Sizes can be mixed freely in a single order, shipping is free whatever the quantity, and if you have a date in mind, you can email us before ordering for an honest estimate.
Why we chose free shipping and long returns
Working people are busy. Nobody wants to calculate shipping zones on a phone during a fifteen-minute break, or rush a return because a 14-day window is closing while they work a run of night shifts. So we made the two simplest promises we could. Shipping to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is free, with no minimum. And every item has 60 days from delivery to come back for a refund or exchange, for any reason. When we make a mistake, putting it right costs you nothing at all. These promises are written into our Terms of Service and policy pages, so they are not marketing; they are part of the agreement on every order.
What our products are, and are not
Our garments and mugs are made for everyday life around the job: the commute, the break room, the team photo, the fundraiser, the weekend. They are not uniforms, scrubs, protective clothing or anything certified for workplace safety. We say this clearly because people in many of our trades work under strict dress codes and safety rules, and we would never want a shirt of ours to be mistaken for gear that protects you. Wear your required equipment on the job, and wear Shift Pride when the shift is over and the pride is still there.
Who we are
Shift Pride is operated by Shiftpride, a business based at 311 Florida Street, Knoxville, TN 37915, United States. We are a small online store, not a marketplace: every product on shiftpride.com is ours, and every support email is answered by our own team. We do not have physical shops, resellers or other websites. If you see another site using our name, please let us know.
Where we are heading
We are starting with eight trade collections and three product types, and we plan to grow carefully rather than quickly. New trades are added when we can write designs that people in that job would recognise as their own. New product types are added only when we can describe them accurately and back them with the same 60-day promise. If you would like to see your profession here, your message to us is the best vote you can cast.
